For this personal project, I dedicated myself to treading into unknown waters of package design. The goal was to create custom packaging for a spice kit company named Fusion Flare.
In addition to the packaging design, I had to develop a brand identity which included designing a logo, selecting complementary typography, and colors. As an additional challenge, I wanted each individual spice to have their own unique color palette and logo--so if someone was to pick a spice without reading the label they would be able to distinguish the difference by color and logo alone.
This new company, Fusion Flare, is an organic spice company launching five new flavors, and each spice bottle needs its unique label, and box to contain said kits.
I feel that a strong logo acts as the cornerstone of a company, providing a place to return for inspiration or grounding.
If Fusion Flare was a real product, the logo would appear on every package so I needed to create a logo that felt fresh and innovative.
Once I designed the brand's logo I was able to move on to creating logos for each individual spice kit.
